Delivering an innovation system to solve One Health challenges
The vision of Roslin Innovation Centre is to provide a collaborative ecosystem for entrepreneurs and companies that support innovation advancements within Animal Bioscience - Health, Agri-tech and Aquaculture (A3) sectors, in order to solve One Health challenges locally and globally.
Easter Bush Campus is home to The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies which includes the world-leading Roslin Institute, and Global Agriculture and Food Systems. This provides an interdisciplinary hub of expertise and specialist facilities which enable collaboration, with strong links to the wider University of Edinburgh.
Easter Bush Campus is the only UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Campus based in Scotland, with the UK-wide network of campuses providing access to an extensive range of expertise and facilities in bioscience and biotechnology.
In addition, Easter Bush Campus is home to the Agri-Tech Hub for the Edinburgh & South East Scotland’s Data Driven Innovation (DDI) hub, which brings together a range of academic disciplines to address the world's most pressing challenges by enabling innovation through data.
Roslin Innovation Centre is a gateway for entrepreneurs, companies and public-charitable bodies, at the heart of the Easter Bush Campus.
