Midlothian Science Zone Business Forum with Raygonal Ltd

Tuesday 27th October 2026, 1:00pm to 2:15pm

Roslin Innovation Centre Boardroom

Tenant companies are invited to join the next Midlothian Science Zone Business Forum which will include a presentation from Dr. Aliyu Dala, founder of Raygonal, an agricultural technology company based at the Agri Field Station.

AI-Powered Sustainable Aquaculture Technology

Raygonal is revolutionising seafood production with Aquary, an AI-powered, renewable energy-driven system that cultivates fresh, sustainable seafood.

Dr Aliyu Dala will tell us more about the company's  innovative approach which aims to ensure sustainability, transparency, and antibiotic-free seafood to address overfishing, harmful aquaculture practices, and the inefficiencies of long supply chains.

By bringing production closer to consumption, reducing transportation emissions and ensure fresher, higher-quality seafood, this cutting-edge automation and profitable investment model, makes premium seafood more accessible while protecting our planet.

Raygonal's innovative business model also provides individuals and communities with opportunities to invest in food production and share in the profits.

Connecting businesses 'in the zone'

Midlothian Science Zone (MSZ) Business Forum is hosted several times a year specifically to encourage engagement and collaboration between organisations 'in the zone'.

It aims to bring together a wide range of businesses to identify shared support needs, collaborative opportunities and share knowledge across region, whilst also signposting to research, expertise and business services.

Please register to join us for a presentation, with an opportunity for introductions and time to network with other Midlothian Science Zone-based businesses, and of course to meet the MSZ Team.
